WREXHAM — Some celebrity football ownership is a portfolio decision. And then there’s whatever is happening in North Wales, where Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds spent the weekend doing what they now do several times a season: getting rained on, eating chips, and singing until their voices gave out.

The weekend had the full script. A rain delay that soaked everyone equally, fish and chips consumed under an awning with zero ceremony, and a second-half comeback that sent the Racecourse into the kind of noise you feel in your sternum.
